Today was kind of a slow start, but we got up eventually.
Thanks to mom, we had a delicious pancake breakfast with bacon.
Yesterday I said there was no more driving, but that was kind of a lie. We have to drive for 2 and a half hours to get from our hotel room to Dinosaur National Monument.
“Surprisingly, we will be in the car about the same time as yesterday.”
“Aw… Why??”
All the cool stuff is just really far apart. There is no ‘cool land’ where all the cool stuff is minutes apart.

Once we got there, we-
“Hey Kayl?”
Bunny, you are kind of interrupting me. What’s up?
“Can I take all the pictures today?”
“What? You don’t want to be in any of them?”
Sure Bunny. Foxy, you can take some too.
“Awesome! Thanks Kayl!”
“Ooh, this sounds fun!”
Just make sure you aren’t getting you thumb in the picture.

The main feature of Dinosaur National Monument was “The Wall”. It was AMASING!!
Basically, millions of years ago, this spot was a river. There was a drought, so lots of dinosaurs died, then there was a flood, and this spot was a curve in the river where a lot of the dead dinosaurs were then buried in sediments. Then, a few million years later, paleontologists find this huge wall of dinosaurs, and the really cool part about this wall was they had left all the bones as partially excavated. They built a building around it, so visitors could come and enjoy it.
On the right side of the wall, the bones were a lot more spread out.
But on the left side (pictures above and below), the bones were still together, like you would see a whole tail, or a skull & neck.
This was also inside the building, but it was just a replica.

We also saw some petroglyphs… Although they weren’t as cool as the wall.

Then we took 3 more hours to get home, and a thunderstorm was above us for a lot of the time. We saw lots of lightning.
We got to enjoy another night of going to the pool, and then making dinner in the condo.
