They have 2 new Black and 1 new Wheaten Scotties...
One of their other Wheatens had babies!
The father was Black, so they all turned out Black too.
There were 6 of the cute little guys...
(they also have grown-up dogs too...)
Next we visited the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Today we went to the "Sheep Rock Unit", and got a another Junior Ranger Badge! (My brother and I have 39 total now) We explored the ranger station, and had a lot of fun!
For those of you who aren't familiar with what the Junior Ranger thing is, visit our this page in my family's blog: Junior Rangers!
Then we drove to the town of Fossil. Behind the high school, they have a fossil dig spot. For $5 a person, you can dig for your own fossils! They use the money for under-funded programs at the high school.
Then we drove to the painted hills, and hiked a short trail.
Then we drove to the hotel, but got there at 10:30 pm! (Oops! We got a little behind schedule...)
